Children's Educational Book Consultant

We are looking for a passionate bookworm who has experience working in a classroom environment

This book-loving individual would join our publishing team and help us continue to deliver imaginative, beautiful fiction and non-fiction for children around the world. It is a fantastic opportunity for somebody who is looking for a new challenge away from the school environment but would love to utilise their educational knowledge, offering opinions on book selection for our schools range and ideas for exciting new titles. There would also be opportunities to be involved with educational focus groups and possible book fair development.

This is a part-time role but we are willing to offer flexibility to find the right team member. If you love books and reading, and learning is at the heart of everything you do, then get in touch - our mission is to share our passion for books with the world and we can’t do it alone!

    Junior Illustrator/Designer

    BookLife Publishing are on the look-out for a full-time illustrator/designer within the King’s Lynn area. We are a creative children’s book publisher producing a wide range of titles of fiction and non-fiction.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic, print-orientated designer, who also has a love of illustration. The ideal candidate requires two years experience using InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator as a minimum. The role involves working as part of a small design team producing a huge variety of printed and online product/material ranging from catalogues and leaflets through to packaging and even publishing and illustrating books. This is a unique opportunity to work on an extensive variety of products and gain valuable experience in the publishing industry.

    You would be joining one of the most forward-thinking and quickest growing book publishers/suppliers in the country.

      Publishing Assistant

      BookLife Publishing are looking for a keen, enthusiastic individual to join their expanding publishing department. The successful candidate will need to be extremely organised and be capable of meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects at one time. The role includes events management, project management and relationship building with clients, alongside a range of administrative duties. Knowledge of rights and the export business would be advantageous. The job role also requires attendance at book fairs throughout the year and includes some overseas travel. The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level.
